High Temperature Dual Infrared Thermometer that provides fast easy and accurate readings, widely used to be measure the temperature in many industries.
It has a built in Dual laser that can be switch On and Off, Dual laser is an important feature when choosing infrared thermometers because it allows for much higher accuracy of readings, when measuring an object a Dual Laser will help you greatly in finding the convergence point of the measured target and spot ratio this can only be achieved with Dual Laser.
It has adjustable emissivity from 0.10 to 1.00, adjustable emissivity is also an important feature with infrared thermometers as it allows continued accuracy over various materials example when measuring wood, metal or plastic whatever type of material you can adjust emissivity setting for the highest performance. It has a spot ratio of 10:1, for example a measurement at 75 cm would measure an area of 7.5cm diameter the dual laser will also assist you with the aiming and alignment of spot ratio.
Some of its built in features including backlight, measures in Celsius or Fahrenheit, Programmable High and low limit alarm stored in memory, It has CE approval, many other features.
Included in the package is a carry holster with belt strap, this also assist in keeping the instrument in good condition and protects the lens and lasers from foreign matter.
This is a quality unit designed for many years work and comes with 1 year full replacement warranty.

I wanted to calculate the wood needed to reach approx. 300 Celcius to cook pizza in my just built wood fired oven. The digital pyrometer is a breeze to use and superb for purpose. It is light, easy to manouevre within the dome and looks sturdy for purpose if kept in a drawer. Have also recently installed a solar roof exhaust fan which works from the sun. In hot summer nights, with the thermostat, I can install a night switch to keep temp. below 25 degrees. Intend to wait for an extremely hot day and measure temp with laser at night before installing. Great product for price and temp range; you do the homework.

my wife wanted something to check food in oven when you have to maintain a temperature and it works really good

Being a retired mechanic, put to good use straight away found my temp gauge was reading 25 deg low on my vintage car, and handy for checking friends vehicles, good carrying case can be left in the glove box without getting damaged. I delayed the review till I had used it a few times so far so good.

Easy to use and seems accurate. Excellent value for the price. More expensive brands may be more robust for commercial applications, but for moderate use it is fine.

I bought this thermometer to use primarily with my wood fired outdoor oven and also in the kitchen.
Great tool, very pleased with it.
It is easy to use and gives instant temperature readings.
I like the holster to keep it in while not in use.

Lasers are v helpful and there is some really cheap-feel stuff (Supercheap Auto) around or just below this price point without them.
Compact size makes getting around tight spots easy.
Instructions say there is a fahrenheit switch in battery bay but I can't find it -so only reads celsius. Accuracy looks good at close range (100-200mm).
Bought it to help diagnose an automotive overheating problem so temp. range is perfectly adequate.
For an item that won't get used much (ie won't get kicked around a workshop daily - it looks like it wouldn't stand abuse very well) price makes it good value and a useful addition to the tool box.
Answer from Gastools, Just hold down the Mode button to change between Fahrenheit and Celsius you have the latest model.
